Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of askme.rest (the “Site”). By accessing the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. About ASK.ME Games

ASK.ME Games is an independent HTML5 browser-game aggregator operated from Italy by Giovanni Picaro as Publisher. Games on the Site are licensed from third-party developers and publishers; we are an aggregator, not a game developer. See About Us.

2. Free play, no account required

The Site is free to access. Casual play does not require account registration or personal-information submission. Where individual games operate their own optional account systems for high scores, achievements, or multiplayer features, those systems are operated by the game developers under their own terms and privacy frameworks; ASK.ME does not handle that data.

3. Game content is licensed from third parties

Games on the Site are licensed from third-party developers and publishers. The intellectual property in each game (code, art, music, characters, brand) belongs to the respective developer / publisher; ASK.ME holds embedding licenses, not ownership. 4. Site content is ASK.ME’s intellectual property

The Site’s own original content — trust pages, design, code, original imagery, category descriptions written by us, the editorial-style category structure — is © 2024-2026 ASK.ME Games. See Copyright Notice.

5. AI training prohibition

Use of the Site’s own original content for the training, fine-tuning, or evaluation of artificial-intelligence systems, machine-learning models, or large language models is expressly prohibited. The opt-out is asserted under EU Directive 2019/790 Article 4 and equivalent rights in other jurisdictions. The opt-out applies to ASK.ME’s editorial and design content; the games themselves are governed by their respective developers’ notices. See Copyright Notice and AI Usage Policy.

6. No warranty

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind. We make reasonable efforts to keep games functional, but third-party game hosting can become unavailable; we do not warrant continuous availability of any specific game. We do not warrant that the Site will be free of errors, omissions, or interruptions.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ASK.ME, its publisher, and contributors are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with use of the Site, including without limitation damages from inability to access games, content disputes, or third-party game behavior.

This limitation does not exclude liability for fraud, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or other liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory provisions of Italian or applicable consumer-protection law.

8. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. Specifically, you will not:

• Use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or systematically download Site content beyond standard browser caching.
• Use Site content for the training, fine-tuning, or evaluation of artificial-intelligence systems.
• Attempt to disrupt the Site’s operation, breach its security, or access non-public areas.
• Embed games hosted on this Site on third-party sites without permission — the games are licensed to ASK.ME for embedding, not for further redistribution.
• Use Site content in a manner that would expose minors to inappropriate material.
• Misrepresent affiliation with ASK.ME.

9. Children — COPPA, GDPR Art. 8

The Site is a general-audience site; the audience includes minors. Use by children is subject to the framework on Children’s Privacy. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (COPPA threshold) or under 16 in EU jurisdictions.

10. Third-party links and content

The Site links to third-party websites (game developer pages, distributor sites). We are not responsible for third-party content, privacy practices, or accuracy.

11. Affiliate links

Some links on the Site may be affiliate links. Where applicable, the relationship is disclosed on Affiliate Disclosure.

12. Advertising

The Site displays advertising delivered exclusively by Adsterra. Ad selection is performed by the network; ASK.ME does not select individual advertisers. Visitor data flow for advertising is described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

13. User submissions

If you send correspondence to ASK.ME (email, contact form), you grant ASK.ME a non-exclusive license to use the content for editorial purposes (replying, internal record-keeping). You confirm that the submission is your original work or that you have the right to submit it.

14. Privacy

Personal data is processed under our Privacy Policy and Children’s Privacy notice, both incorporated into these Terms by reference.

15. Modifications

We may modify these Terms periodically. The “Last updated” date reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

16. Termination

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the Site for users who violate these Terms or who use the Site in a manner that disrupts its operation.

17. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Italy. This jurisdiction clause does not deprive consumers of the protections afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of their habitual residence under Regulation (EC) 593/2008 (Rome I) and Regulation (EU) 1215/2012 (Brussels I-bis).

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
