1. ASK.ME is an aggregator, not a game developer

Games on the Site are licensed from third-party developers and publishers. ASK.ME Games does not develop the games. Each game’s intellectual property — code, art, music, characters, brand, gameplay design — belongs to the respective developer or publisher. Our role is licensee / aggregator: we hold embedding licenses, we do not own the games. See Sources & Attribution for the licensing framework.

2. No warranty on game availability

Games on the catalog are hosted on the developer’s / distributor’s infrastructure, not directly on ASK.ME. If a game’s hosting becomes unavailable, the game becomes unplayable until the upstream issue is resolved. We do not warrant that any specific game will be continuously available, and we do not have direct control over the hosting infrastructure for most catalog games.

3. No warranty on game quality or content

The Site provides games “as is” from third-party developers. While we screen games against our Content Standards before adding them to the catalog, we do not warrant:

That every game performs identically across all device classes and browsers.
That game balance, gameplay quality, or replay value will meet any specific subjective expectation.
That in-game advertising (if present) will be free of every category we would prefer to exclude — ad networks rotate inventory and we monitor but cannot pre-screen every individual ad.
That subjective qualities like “fun” or “engaging” apply to every game.

4. No financial advice, no professional advice

The Site is a games site. It does not provide financial, legal, medical, psychological, or any other professional advice. Where games on the Site reference real-world topics (a finance simulator, a medical-themed game, etc.), they are entertainment, not professional advice.

5. Third-party content

The Site links to third-party Websites — developer pages, distributor sites, official game homepages where applicable. We are not responsible for third-party content, privacy practices, or accuracy. Third-party privacy practices apply on those Sites, not the ASK.ME Privacy Policy.

6. Adsterra advertising

Display advertising on the Site is delivered by Adsterra. Ads appearing on the Site are not endorsements of the advertised product or service by ASK.ME. Editorial content is independent of advertising. Where an ad’s content concerns you, please email abuse [at] askme [punto] rest with details and we will configure category restrictions on our publisher dashboard.

8. Trademarks

Trademarks and service marks belong to their respective owners. Where games on the Site reference real-world trademarks (sports teams, real-world brands, licensed franchises), the trademark licensing is the developer’s responsibility, not ASK.ME’s. We use generic descriptive category names (Action, Adventure, Puzzle, etc.) rather than third-party trademarks in our own site copy.

9. Health considerations — gameplay hygiene

Casual gameplay on the Site is intended for entertainment, in moderation, with the standard considerations any browser-based activity warrants:

Take breaks. Extended unbroken screen time can cause eye strain.
Maintain reasonable posture and ergonomics.
Some games involve flashing imagery; if you have photosensitive epilepsy or are sensitive to flashing light, exercise appropriate caution.
Be mindful of time spent on the Site — casual gaming is a leisure activity that can crowd out other priorities if not managed.

The Site does not target gameplay-addiction patterns. We do not have engagement-optimization mechanisms designed to maximize time-on-site at the expense of player wellbeing.

10. Children

The Site is a general-audience site that includes minors among its visitors. Specific protections apply — see Children’s Privacy. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children’s use of the Internet, including this Site. We do not have parental-control infrastructure beyond what individual game developers provide.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ASK.ME, its publisher, and contributors are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of the Site, including without limitation damages from inability to access games, content concerns, third-party game behavior, advertising content, or any other Site-related matter. This limitation is described more fully in our Terms of Service.
